Managed email infrastructure · Riga, Latvia

Email infrastructure that stays out of your way.

Talvara runs the mail platform behind mid-market businesses across Europe — hosting, routing, filtering, archiving and deliverability. We are the team you call when mail has to work, and the team you stop thinking about once it does.

Operating since 2017 EU-resident infrastructure Vendor-neutral by policy

Why teams bring us in

Three problems, handled properly.

Most mail estates fail in one of three predictable ways. We are structured around all three, because in practice they are the same estate.

Uptime you can point at

Redundant inbound and outbound paths, queue-depth and deferral alerting, and documented failover that we rehearse rather than assume. Incidents get a written timeline, not a status colour.

Deliverability as an operating discipline

Authentication alignment, sending-source inventory, reputation monitoring and complaint feedback loops — reviewed on a schedule, not after the invoices stop arriving.

How the practice works

Compliance that survives an audit

Data residency inside the EU, retention schedules mapped to real obligations, immutable archives with defensible deletion, and a DPA that a data protection officer can actually read.

Our compliance posture

Service summary

One team for the whole mail estate.

We do not sell licences and we do not resell a platform. Engagements are scoped against your estate as it exists, including the parts nobody documented.

All six services

Managed mail hosting

Hosted mailboxes, routing and transport policy operated as a service with defined response targets.

Migration

On-premises to cloud and cloud to cloud, pre-seeded and cut over without a maintenance window.

Deliverability audits

Fixed-fee assessment of authentication, sending sources, reputation and list practice.

Anti-spam and filtering

Inbound policy tuning, quarantine workflow and false-positive review that a helpdesk can run.

Archiving and retention

Journal capture, retention schedules, legal hold and defensible deletion inside the EU.

Monitoring and alerting

Synthetic delivery probes, queue and blocklist watches, routed to a rota that answers.

How we work

Boring, documented, reversible.

Mail is infrastructure. It rewards patience and punishes clever. Every change we make has a written rollback, and every engagement ends with you holding the documentation.

  1. Inventory first

We enumerate every system that sends as you — including the CRM nobody owns and the printer in the warehouse.

  2. Measure before changing

Baselines for delivery, deferral, complaint and authentication rates, so the effect of a change is observable.

  3. Change in increments

Staged rollouts with short DNS TTLs and a defined backout. Nothing goes to enforcement on a Friday.

  4. Hand over properly

Runbooks, diagrams and decision records in your repository — not locked inside a consultant's laptop.

Start with a scoping call.

Forty-five minutes, no charge, no obligation. Bring your current setup and your worst recurring complaint. You will leave with a written summary of what we would look at first and roughly what it would cost.
